Also, you have to look at year over year, not quarter to quarter. Anything is brutal with Dale, to be fair. Winn briefly took over as general manager, but moved to a new Boston sports radio venture, the ESPN Radio-backed WAMG 890, in October 2005. People listened to it despite not liking it because there was nothing else to listen to. Holley: I remember one time Michael Smith was doing a show I wasn’t, and he gave me a call and he said, “Oh, you’ve got to get to the station.
