I agree with you for the most part, but in my opinion I think that class of 2012-2014 is Late Y, 2015-2016 is Y/Z cusp, Leaning Y, 2017-2018 Y/Z cusp, Leaning Z. Edit: After reading some peoples' responses, I've decided to change my stance to say that anyone born from '96-early '01 is a Y/Z hybrid (Class of 2014-Class of 2019), and anyone born Late '01 and after is pure Gen Z (Class of 2020 onward).
